A live virtual performance, this phygital display of movement utilized the capabilities of Unreal Engine 5 and motion capture technology to communicate a story in two realities at once.

There were multiple real-time elements happening throughout the performance. Working in Unreal Engine 5, the entire cave system was built from scratch with the various stalactites/mites being lit reactively in response to the dancers movement.
The dancers were in mocap suits utilizing the OptiTrack Motion Capture System, the volume of the sound design was tied to the dancers hand position, raising their hands would raise the volume, lowering their hands would do the opposite.
